Back from Norway!
After twelve days above the Arctic Circle in Norway and briefly crossing into Finland, my microblog resumes (catch-up entries) with a short series shaped by what was seen, heard, and quietly noted along the way. A winter journey unfolded in unseasonably warm weather, without snow or rain, beneath northern lights that felt timeless against a landscape behaving differently than expected. Conversations turned naturally to borders, preparedness, and alliance commitments, while history surfaced in museums, memorials, and artifacts whose authenticity now demands new tools to assess. The entries that follow treat Norway not as a destination but as a vantage point, a place where climate, history, technology, and geopolitics intersect earlier and more clearly than elsewhere.
