Looking Ahead to CDAIO
As 2026 opens quietly, I turn to looking ahead. Last summer marked the decision for me to enroll in Carnegie Mellon University's Chief Data and AI Officer executive program, offering a structured setting to examine questions that have surfaced repeatedly in earlier posts, data governance, institutional responsibility, and the careful integration of AI into long established academic life. The year ahead centers less on novelty than consolidation, aligning experience, reflection, and formal study. Progress will unfold steadily with durable ideas carried back into daily work as the months advance. Happy New Year!
