The Dataprep Promise
Universities and colleges are trying to use AI to enable a data catalog of thousands of tables and proposed definitions that looked convincing yet reflected years of conflicting names and outdated rules. Staff expected quick clarity yet the model surfaced old habits rather than current practice. Analysts paused the rollout and formed a stewardship group to rebuild shared terms which echoes earlier posts on patient structure. The catalog finally delivered value once human judgment restored order that AI alone could not supply.
