What Is ai.com?

ai.com appears to no longer be a redirect or abstract brand exercise. Recent reporting shows the domain, purchased for roughly $70 million by Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek, is being developed as a platform for personal AI agents that can act on a user’s behalf. A Super Bowl ad drove massive attention, but early users found a service not yet operational and a privacy and liability framework that raises serious concerns. Accounts require payment information up front, agents act autonomously, and the terms place full responsibility on users for any outcomes, including harmful or illegal actions. Earlier posts here described ai.com as a public registry in the making. New evidence suggests a more unsettling role, a system that promises delegation while shifting risk entirely onto the individual. The address offers presence but at a cost that is not clear.
